I am afraid I do! I will be won over to a new book by what’s on the cover. Do you?
Afterall it is more PR. It is telling the reader about you and your brand, if it is a business book you have written yourself. So needs to be consistent with your branding, messaging and who you are aiming it at.
So, we have spent alot of time on the cover of my book and I am really pleased with it. It needed to say it was an autobiography, as well as a business book giving valuable lessons, from someone who has been in the ‘trade’ for many years so has the expertise to back up the content.
I have had a lot of help from the publishers and the reaction so far from the people I have shown it to has been 100% positive.
