Mizen Group Announces New Appointments 

Leading privately-owned property development and investment company, the Mizen Group, have strengthened its senior management team announcing the appointment of two senior staff members.

Richard Reynolds joins as Construction & Commercial Director following 11 years with Charles Church and 18 years with the Roxylight Group and Saxon Developments. Shane Burns, joins as Head of Technical, leading the professional teams in the design and implementation of all projects, following 19 years with firms such as Countryside LLP and JLA Architects and three years as Senior Design Manager on the Royal Opera House.

The major new appointments follow the promotion of Conor McShane to the position of Commercial Manager and Ricky Halpin as Senior Surveyor. Conor and Ricky are also soon to be joined by two further Surveyors, Enrico Verrecchia and Mohamed Suleiman.

The wave of promotions are part of the wider growth strategy for the business and will allow the family-owned firm to continue to strengthen its position as an industry leader.

The Mizen Group was founded by Bernard Tansey 33 years ago, in 1986, with the company focus on creating fairly priced residential and commercial property units across the private and public sectors within the City of London and South East of England. Property development and construction capabilities include land acquisition, planning services (greenfield and brownfield), design and build packages (£1m – £25 m), urban mixed use regeneration property development, bespoke commercial & medical fit out packages, and property consultancy.

In addition to our existing projects we have a number of exciting up-coming projects for the Mizen Group including:

  • Wimbledon, The Crescent, 11 flats and 7 new houses where work has already commenced on site and is scheduled for completion in June 2020.
  • The recently announced Hanwell, 144 – 156 Uxbridge Road, an six -storey building with basement, providing 36 flats and a retail  Store at ground level, together with seven, four-bed homes on the adjoining Westminster Road
  • Sutton High Street, a six storey, 30 flat building with 12,000ft² of retail space
  • Heron House, Wembley – 40 flats and 9,000ft² of commercial space
  • Brentwood, a scheme of 27 bespoke upmarket houses and flats
  • Wapping, a joint venture for a new scheme of up to 50 apartments and 5,500ft² of community facilities
