Marvellous PR has been created, and is run by me, Lucy Matthews

I have been a PR consultant for over 34 years, working for a huge range of B2B and B2C clients in London, Sydney, Luxembourg and now across the UK from industrial floor cleaning manufacturers, to football clubs; property developers to therapists; Pepsi to pasta ready meals; photographers to authors; big businesses to entrepreneurs and small start-ups; helping them all to build their profile, make more sales and put themselves ahead of their competitors.

I am the author of the Amazon #1 Best Seller on Public Relations ‘A Marvellous Reputation’. Find out more about my book containing a collection of the important tactics and fundamentals of good PR, gathered through my own 30+year career as a PR expert.

Apparently (doing my own PR here!) I am well known for my big picture thinking, creativity and strategic ideas in the planning and execution of successful PR campaigns.

After studying English and Drama at university, I found my path in the world of PR where I have combined all my passions and convictions, ending up helping thousands of entrepreneurs and small business owners to understand and use the power and value of implementing PR in their work and personal lives.

My career has taken me in and out of large and small consultancies and finally into running my own.

I have also created bespoke PR courses and materials, handy reference guides and PR Planners, all with the aim of providing everything entrepreneurs and small business owners need to do their own PR, with back up help from me and my team if they need it.

I have three adult children, live in Totnes in the glorious South Hams region of Devon, and when I am not helping people with their PR I love travelling (my eldest daughter lives in South America), playing tennis, walking, doing body balance and relaxing with my family and friends. My favourite film is Titanic.

“As Marvellous PR is a freelance PR consultant to us, with other clients in the property industry but not in direct competition to us, their contributions to our marketing meetings are very useful as they bring ideas and suggestions which have been successful with their other clients. In addition, they have introduced us to new journalists who have approached them on behalf of other clients, but with whom we have also been able to work.”
